Jay: Hello, it is great to speak to you. Welcome to Lazie Indie Magazine, for the benefit of our readers can you please tell us a brief about yourself and your music, Who is/are your musical influences?
Obong Priesto: My name is Famous Endurance. Friday, I am 29 years old. I was born on 12/12/1994. I am from West African Nigeria's old coastal eastern region. I am from Akwa Ibom state.
My parents' first son. My artist name is Obong Priesto, and I am the founder of the "Plight Messengers Band," which was formed last year.
Jay: How do you go about your music creation? Where can we see your music releases over the internet and tell us about your new release?
Obong Priesto: My musical career began when I was 12 years old and became a reality when I was 18 years old, with a lot of potential discovered. I began by playing local shows and events as a drummer and background vocalist, and then I began top lining at the age of 26 years. It's was so fun to found my self doing what give me joy and reviewing my craft and gift to the world for solution. My music stand as divine a message from the creator of the universe, it's a direct gift and calling from the most high, not only that I'm also a priest, I pass my message through my songs for human consumption to help and build lives and learn. My primary genre is reggae songs, but I also work in film, commercials, media, and television.
I network with various songwriters, composers/producers.
